Borderline INDECENCY

Red Velvet

Made from the Better Homes & Gardens Red Waldorf Cake recipe, this ruby gem is the most amazing piece of red velvet I have ever tasted. Of course, I might be biased seeing as I lovingly brought these little beauties to life. However, surely you can believe the words of my Cupcake Testing Specialist, and I quote:

"The red velvets are so good they're obscene."

I rest my case.

I again would like to reiterate, though, that the only frosting appropriate to top these cupcakes is the frosting recipe that accompanies the cake recipe in the BHG cookbook: the traditional stovetop-cooked frosting.

Look at them, fresh out of the oven, practically begging to be iced and eaten!!
"Ice me! Eat me!"
